Delicious food! My friends and I came today. Beef was so good and noodles were amazing
Great Korean restaurant in St Catherine street close by the metro, food was really tasty, service was good and priced fairly. Lots of items available on the menu, the tteokbokki rose was nice and creamy, same for the bibimbap, recommended!
I went there with my friend to try out the food. I definitely recommend it. The food was amazing. The chef n the staff was really nice and sweet!
We came to Itaewon Korean restaurant in Montreal based on Google reviews, and it did not disappoint. The space isn’t overly big, but the layout feels cozy and welcoming. When we arrived, it was about half full—just the right level of busy. My girlfriend and I ordered the bibimbap and spicy soft tofu soup, and we also shared the tteokkgangjeong (which I will not attempt to pronounce). Everything was absolutely delicious. The bibimbap was perfectly balanced with crisp vegetables and a rich flavour. The soft tofu soup was warm, spicy, and comforting. The tteokkgangjeong—fried rice cakes coated in a spicy and sweet sauce—were a real highlight, chewy and packed with flavour. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and pleasant. Service was efficient without ever feeling rushed. We left full and already looking forward to our next visit. Itaewon really nails it for authentic, satisfying Korean cuisine in Montreal.
Dining at this restaurant is either zero times or countless times. Once you experience it, it will make you linger and never want to leave! Really, really, really delicious, and the owner is also very, very nice, extremely friendly, and a very warm person.
12/17/24: Had an amazing experience here! Passed by while getting out of Beaudry Metro Station. Glimpsed at the menu outside; caught my attention. So I went in, asked for a seat (for only me, was by myself) and tried there octopus balls and onion coated chicken wings and fries. Super good! There passion fruit cocktail was good too! (Non-alcoholic) Will come back with friends or alone again! Thanks Han for your excellent service! Your parents are amazing cooks and people as well
Had a birthday dinner here for hubby and it was a great choice. We love Korean food and this restaurant did not disappoint - the service was pleasant and our waiter surprised and treated my husband’s birthday with juices and choco pies! The food was delicious including the banchan and plentiful. Just wished we lived in this great city to enjoy this restaurant on a regular basis. As a plus it’s right off the Beaudry Metro stop on St. Catherine’s St. Highly recommend.
